The Cast Iron Emporium has evolved from a
small family company dedicated to supplying, manufacturing and restoring
both original and contemporary cast ironwork.
Over the last 6 years, we have developed a trading presence both in the
UK & worldwide via Internet & from our premises on the Shropshire
Borders. Born from a love of traditional ironwork, Chris Pickard, (Blacksmith)
has undertaken both restoration and refurbishment of original cast ironwork,
and has a real passion for original and period items.
Having expanded our business and having the need for more storage space
we have decided that in Jan 2006 it was time to relocate to our new premises
in the picturesque Eithin Valley, above the midwales village of Llangynog,
Powys, nestling in the foothills of the Berwyn mountains, the village
steeped in Industrial history, is an ideal setting, combined with motorway
connections no more than 60 mins away in either direction, being well
suited for our nationwide coverage.

We also export our products to all points of the world, having successfully competed orders to many parts including: USA, Canada, Europe, southern Ireland, Australia, Far East., offering a full shipping and packing service, including freight forwarding via are own shipping agents offering a door to door or door to port service.

We offer a comprehensive ever growing catalogue of both new items, together with some reclaimed products to service modern and period living. We have remanufactured many items, including our exclusive Bread oven doors, Cast iron railings, Weathervanes and Benches... plus many more items... Past projects have included Local Authorities, English Heritage, Private Estates, Local Restoration Companies, Foundries, Builders and of course the general public.
